Today was the day! We cut the ribbon for the Grand Opening of our second location located at 271 River St in Troy NY. We appreciate everyone that came out for support today from our fans to local politicians and business owners as well.

It was quite a week with tropical storm Irene coming through a few days ago; and we were not sure that this day would come but it did and everything went off without a hitch.

We cerainly look forward to meeting more brand new customers in our location and are excited for great things to come. Thank you again to everyone that made this day so special; without the customers we would'nt exist.

We are officially opening Sticky Fingers Gourmet Apples second store on August 15th. We would love to have you come down even if its just to say hi and take a look around. We are in the midst of putting in the final special touches so that your shopping experience can be wonderful. The new location will be located at 271 River St in Troy, NY and the ribbon cutting will be set for a date during the last week of August. Make sure that your looking for us to announce the ribbon cutting date shortly.

It seems surreal but we want to thank everyone of our customers that have shopped with us and others that helped to make this possible. We are going to be opening a 2nd store in Troy, NY and it will have plenty of the wonderful gourmet confections that you have come to enjoy in our Cohoes location. There will be more information to come including a ribbon cutting ceremony that will be taking place towards the end of August. We look forward to seeing not only some of our faithful customers at the troy location but many new ones that we haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet.

IT'S FARMERS MARKET SEASON!

The warm weather is here and summer is approaching; which means that the farmers markets have begun. So far this year we are scheduled to be at two markets on a weekly basis. Currently we are scheduled to be at the Crossings Farmers Market in Colonie from 9am-1pm and the Waterford Farmers Market on Sundays from 9pm-1pm The locations for both markets can be found here on our website. It has been quite a while since our last blog entry but we are going to try and be more diligent moving forward on keeping it updated.

We want to say Thank You for all of our great customers who placed orders for this coming Easter Sunday and want to let you know that we will still be running up till the last minute in the retail store. This has been a great year so far and there are going to be plenty of new and exciting things coming from us so be looking out.

Well, the ribbon is cut and the store is open. It was a great day in the history of our company and Sticky Fingers Gourmet Apples now has a retail shop at 190 Remsen St in Cohoes, NY. It was a great time to celebrate with all of the people who came out and to have the Mayor of Cohoes be there for this milestone in our company along with so many of the other supporters and business owners was amazing. We are so excited to be a part of a community that really rallies behind its people. We met so many new faces this past week and look forward to meeting so many more of you. New Retail Store Opening!

Its been a while since we have updated our blog as we have been facebooking and simply lost track of our blog but a lot of new things are happening as Sticky Fingers Gourmet Apples these days. We are going to be opening a storefront right here in Cohoes, NY at 190 Remsen St on September 1, 2010 and there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony and block party on September 3. If you are in the area come on down and "get stuck in Cohoes" like we did. We love all of our customers and other supporters and look forward to seeing you. Remember; us gourmet apples eaters have to "sticky together"!

Its the first day of summer, the skies are blue and the farmers markets have started. From now until the end of October we will be at the Colonie Crossings farmers market selling our wonderful gourmet confections on Saturdays from 9am-1pm. Happy Anniversary to us today. Sticky Fingers is officially three years old. It started out as just a dream but turned into so much more. In this time we have had almost 5000 orders; we have also done many weddings, corporate events, holiday parties and etc. We just finished another successful holiday with Easter and look forward to upcoming Mother's Day. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is national breast cancer awareness month. We definitely have some items that may bring some happiness to that special someone in your life who has either gone through it or is going through it. Two apples that are great for this occasion would be our Pink M&M's, Pretty in Pink Apples or our Sweetheart Gift Basket. They are great gifts for Mothers, Sisters, Breast Cancer Survivors or just to say "I love you". Sticky Fingers will also be supporting our local breast cancer organization through donations this month.

Taste of Home Cooking Show & Colonie Harvest Fest

We are going to be really busy this weekend selling at a few events; so if you have the time swing down and visit us. On Friday we are going to be at the Taste of Home Cooking Show on Friday 8/18/09 from 5-9 at the Cohoes High School, then the Crossings Farmers Market on Sat 8/19/09 from 9-1 and Finally back to the Crossings on Sunday from 12-5 for the Annual Harvest Fest. It's going to be a great time for families and tons of things for everyone to do. We are going to have a large variety of confections to offer plus some new items. New Sales Location at The Apple Barn in VT

We will be selling many of our wonderful gourmet confections starting August 23, 2009 at The Apple Barn in Bennington, VT. We will be there through the fall and possibly in the off season. Not only will our items be available; they have many other wonderful treats to choose from. Although we are only half way through this hot month of August those special events on your calendar are going to be coming up sooner than you think. It's time to start thinking about the fall weddings, office parties, holiday gatherings or any other special event you may be planning. We offer a service on our site at no charge to you called Order Now & Ship Later; and how it works is during checkout just put the date that you would like your items to arrive and then we'll take it from there. It's always best if you have them arrive a day or so before you need them. Our event calendar is filling up fast so drop us an email if you have questions about a certain time for your big event.

Fill-A-Back Pack at The Crossings Park in Colonie

We will be at the Town of Colonie Crossing Park on Wednesday August 12th from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at the Fill-A-Back Pack event. Come support our students in North & South Colonie Schools who need a little extra help in filling their backpacks with school supplies! We will be selling all our apples, including our Red Candy apples, gourmet pretzel sticks, chocolate covered caramel popcorn and more.
